Stores & Inventory Controller

About the role

RamcoGas Uganda is looking for a meticulous Stores & Inventory Controller to oversee stock, assets and cylinder movements across its branches in Uganda. The role ensures accurate records, optimal stock levels and smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and verify incoming stock at the warehouse and LPG depot, cross‑referencing with invoices.
• Visit all branches regularly to monitor stock levels and prevent delivery delays.
• Populate the Cylinder management system with refilling data and track cylinder movements.
• Ensure timely replenishment of cylinders and oversee daily dispatches.
• Collect company assets from customers, keep them in good condition and securely stored.
• Implement approval processes to avoid unauthorized stock issuance.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, transactions and inventory movements.
• Generate regular reports on stock status and provide timely updates to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in inventory control and stock management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Experience with a Cylinder management system.
