About the role
The Upland Unified School District is seeking qualified individuals to join its Substitute Teacher Eligibility Pool. Selected teachers will be called upon to provide classroom instruction across the district when regular staff are unavailable.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver instruction and follow existing lesson plans as assigned.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of education.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) with subject‑matter competence.
- Valid 30‑day teaching permit.
- Completion of mandatory training scheduled for August 2026 (date to be determined).
- Submission of required documents: transcript, credential copy, letter of introduction, two recent letters of recommendation, resume, and non‑discrimination statement.
