Team Leader

About the role

Platinum Credit Limited is seeking a dynamic Team Leader to manage its sales and credit team at the Wakiso office. This full‑time, on‑site position will drive daily and weekly targets, coach staff and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set and monitor daily/weekly sales and credit targets for the team.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, providing regular feedback.
• Organise field activities and coordinate with other departments.
• Analyse portfolio quality, prepare performance reports and address customer issues.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience supervising teams in financial services or related sectors.
• Demonstrated sales and business development track record with target achievement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build client trust.
• Organisational and planning skills with attention to detail in documentation.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of micro‑finance or credit products.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Wakiso and uphold high ethical standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office tools such as email and spreadsheets.
• Ability to use reporting systems and learn company‑specific software.
