Territory Business Executive

About the role

The Territory Business Executive will drive sales of cash and PAYGO d.light products within an assigned geographic area. You will be responsible for meeting revenue, collection, and stock availability targets while building strong relationships with retailers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create awareness and directly sell d.light products to retail outlets in the designated territory.
• Recruit, train, and manage Sales & Engagement Partners to achieve set targets.
• Identify new customers, expand business channels, and activate experience centers, phone shops, and distributors.
• Monitor sales data, market trends, and customer feedback, handling queries and complaints.
• Ensure stock availability across all outlets and maintain minimum inventory levels.
• Track competitive activities and implement d.light’s route‑to‑market strategy.
• Maintain portfolio health by onboarding quality customers and keeping delinquency below 20%.
• Conduct risk assessments on high‑risk accounts and enforce payment compliance.
• Supervise inventory management and safety at all stock locations.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely settlements.
• Maintain assigned tools and company vehicle according to policy.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of proven sales experience with a strong track record.
• Degree, diploma or certificate in a business‑related field.
• Relevant industry background is a plus.
• Experience in fast‑growth sales environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and rapport‑building skills.
• Valid Ugandan riding license.
