UI/UX Designer

About the role

A client is hiring a UI/UX Designer to turn complex software into intuitive, engaging products. The designer oversees the end-to-end design process, from research and wireframes to polished user interfaces, working with product managers and engineers to deliver features that meet user needs and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct user research, create personas and run usability tests to uncover user needs and workflows.
• Analyse user feedback and competitor trends to optimise interaction models and fix UX issues.
• Map user journeys using storyboards, process flows, site maps, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Structure navigation, search and task flows according to product specifications.
• Design interface elements such as menus, tabs, widgets and custom imagery.
• Maintain design systems covering typography, colours and layouts.
• Present designs to cross-functional teams and executives, and hand them off to engineers in an Agile environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer with a portfolio of web and mobile projects.
• Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or a related field.
• Creative problem-solving, business acumen, and strong communication, presentation and time-management skills.

Required skills

• Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and InVision.
• Interaction design, visual hierarchy and rapid prototyping.
• HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
