Airtel Account Manager

About the role

Huawei is looking for an Airtel Account Manager to build and maintain relationships with key mid‑ and junior‑level customers at Airtel Uganda. You will understand their business and network needs and present Huawei’s solution value propositions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and sustain strong relationships with Airtel Uganda’s mid‑ and junior‑level customers, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
• Analyse customers’ business and network requirements, convey Huawei’s solutions, and guide them with case studies and industry best practices.
• Lead project operations as a core team member or Project Director, meeting timeline, budget, quality, and satisfaction targets.
• Participate in negotiations, manage contract changes, and support dispute resolution while complying with company policies and local regulations.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer relationship management within telecom or ICT.
• Preferably experience with telecom operators, especially Airtel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of ICT industry fundamentals and proven project operations and contract negotiation experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills; proactive, results‑oriented, and culturally sensitive to the Ugandan market.
