Branch Unit Leader – Insurance & Financial Services

About the role

The Branch Unit Leader will be based in Kampala and will lead a branch that offers insurance, pensions and investment solutions. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for growing the branch’s portfolio, driving sales performance and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and coach a team of sales agents, set performance targets and monitor results.
• Develop and implement branch‑level business plans, drive customer acquisition and retention.
• Conduct regular training sessions, support agents in field activities and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare performance reports, analyse market opportunities and collaborate with senior management to improve branch operations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and team‑management experience, preferably supervising sales or customer‑facing teams.
• Strong sales, business development and customer relationship management background in financial services or a related sector.
• Ability to plan, organise and execute branch strategies, set targets, track performance and report results.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala, including field work and client visits.
