Business Development & Vendor Onboarding Intern

About the role

SpareHub is building a vehicle‑intelligence ecosystem that connects drivers, mechanics, vendors and businesses across Africa. As a Business Development & Vendor Onboarding Intern you will help expand the supply side of our marketplace by engaging with spare‑parts shops, dealers and automotive businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach spare‑parts shops, dealers, importers and automotive businesses in the Kampala/Entebbe area.
• Introduce SpareHub’s platform, explain its benefits and guide vendors through the onboarding process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with onboarded vendors, providing ongoing support.
• Follow up after onboarding to ensure vendors stay active and address any issues.
• Gather feedback from vendors and relay insights to the product and sales teams.
• Support field activations and business‑development campaigns.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable approaching and speaking with businesses.
• Confident, proactive and willing to work in the field.
• Ability to explain ideas clearly to different audiences.
• Basic understanding of sales or business development is an advantage.
• Interest in technology, automotive or entrepreneurship.
• Ability to work independently and follow up consistently.
• Based in or able to work around Kampala/Entebbe.
