Finance Coordinator – National Position

About the role

The Finance Coordinator will support the financial management of Street Child Uganda, ensuring robust financial systems, accurate reporting and compliance with both organisational and donor requirements. Working closely with the Country Director, programme teams, local partners and the Regional Finance Manager, the role contributes to transparent and efficient financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong financial governance and accountability across all operations.
• Oversee financial planning, accounting, cash management, budgeting and donor reporting.
• Ensure procurement compliance and manage infrastructure project finances.
• Monitor and strengthen the financial systems of national implementing partners.
• Support proposal development, audit processes and financial risk management.
• Continuously improve financial systems and internal controls.

Required profile

• Commitment to comply with Street Child policies, procedures and financial standards.
• Ability to support programme teams in delivering activities within approved budgets.
• Experience contributing to organisational learning, planning and reporting.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
