Head of Finance & Business Control

About the role

The Head of Finance & Business Control will lead financial discipline, cost control and governance across Beyond Logistics Ltd. This senior position drives profitability, ensures compliance and supports sustainable growth in the shipping and logistics business.

Key responsibilities

• Own full financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management and month‑end close.
• Develop, maintain and track the cost‑per‑CBM model to drive cost discipline.
• Ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition and timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Monitor working capital components – receivables, payables and cash cycles – and implement improvements.
• Validate pricing and provide client‑level profitability analysis to protect margins.
• Lead tax planning, compliance with statutory obligations and manage tax audits.
• Oversee contracts, land titles, leases and other legal documents, ensuring version control and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate HR administration, payroll integrity and performance‑management systems via PeopleHum.

Required profile

• Mid‑level finance professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in financial control, budgeting and cost management.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and corporate governance.
• Experience in logistics or shipping environments is preferred.
• Ability to work closely with commercial, legal and HR functions.
