Head of Warehousing

About the role

Klan Logistics Limited is seeking a strategic leader to oversee its countrywide warehousing network from Kampala. The Head of Warehousing will drive inventory excellence, ensure rapid order fulfillment, and uphold safety and compliance across all facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily inventory control and coordinate inbound/outbound stock movements.
• Design and implement a warehousing strategy aligned with national service‑level objectives.
• Monitor performance of multiple warehouses and dispatch centres, reporting insights to executive leadership.
• Champion risk management, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead automation and technology adoption initiatives to optimise fulfilment processes.
• Foster a high‑performance culture focused on continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management (CIPS or MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of senior experience managing warehouses or logistics operations across several locations.
• Proven track record in logistics risk management and compliance.
• Strong leadership, planning and decision‑making abilities.
