Housekeeping Staff

About the role

We are looking for dedicated housekeeping staff to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents at Cherry Ridge Skilled Nursing Facility in Kamwokya, Uganda. The role involves daily cleaning, equipment handling, and supporting the overall hygiene standards of the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Implement housekeeping procedures to meet resident needs and facility standards.
• Participate in the department’s monitoring system and report any issues.
• Notify the supervisor when supplies are needed or equipment requires repair.
• Follow material safety data sheets (MSDS) and safety protocols.
• Operate housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with facility policies.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Alert the supervisor to any areas of the facility that need repair.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills to report supplies, repairs, and equipment issues.
• Reliability and willingness to work in a healthcare environment.

Required skills

• Housekeeping equipment operation.
• Knowledge of material safety data sheets (MSDS) and safety practices.
