Insurance Sales Representative (Part‑time, Hybrid)

About the role

The Insurance Sales Representative position is a part‑time, hybrid role based in Kampala. You will work both from the office and remotely, focusing on identifying prospective clients and presenting suitable insurance solutions in line with Prudential Uganda’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage potential clients through in‑person and virtual meetings.
• Explain policy features, benefits, and prepare quotations.
• Handle basic policy documentation and support clients with renewals, changes, and claims guidance.
• Provide ongoing customer service and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with the broader sales team and participate in regular training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Required profile

• Strong sales aptitude with the ability to prospect, present, and close business.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills to build trust with diverse clients.
• Minimum diploma or degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
