Master Plumber

About the role

ONJI is seeking an experienced Master Plumber to join its on‑site team in Kampala. You will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial and industrial projects while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes and related systems.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards and industry best practices.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with team members and mentor junior plumbers as needed.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in plumbing, pipe installation and maintenance & repair.
• Experience with general maintenance tasks and troubleshooting plumbing challenges.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Familiarity with Ugandan plumbing codes, safety regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Certified or licensed as a Master Plumber.
• Physical ability to perform labor‑intensive tasks and operate necessary tools.
