About the role
The People Consultant I – Pipeline will support the Human Resources function within a fast‑moving retail/FMCG environment. Based in Kampala, the role focuses on delivering effective people processes from recruitment through performance management and development.
Key responsibilities
- Drive effective teamwork and self‑management across the business.
- Lead recruitment, selection and onboarding activities.
- Manage the performance management system and ensure timely reviews.
- Design and deliver training and development programmes for business units.
- Handle poor performance issues and employee‑relations matters.
- Oversee administration, data management and reporting for HR metrics.
- Provide overall people management support to line managers.
Required profile
- 4‑5 years of Human Resources experience in retail or FMCG.
- Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6 or 7).
- Based in Kampala and a Ugandan national.
Required skills
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Creativity and innovation in problem solving.
- Effective time‑management and administration abilities.
- Process management and organisational skills.
