People Consultant I – Pipeline

About the role

The People Consultant I – Pipeline will support the Human Resources function within a fast‑moving retail/FMCG environment. Based in Kampala, the role focuses on delivering effective people processes from recruitment through performance management and development.

Key responsibilities

• Drive effective teamwork and self‑management across the business.
• Lead recruitment, selection and onboarding activities.
• Manage the performance management system and ensure timely reviews.
• Design and deliver training and development programmes for business units.
• Handle poor performance issues and employee‑relations matters.
• Oversee administration, data management and reporting for HR metrics.
• Provide overall people management support to line managers.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of Human Resources experience in retail or FMCG.
• Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6 or 7).
• Based in Kampala and a Ugandan national.
