Pharmacy Dispenser

About the role

The Pharmacy Dispenser will join our Kampala team to support daily pharmacy operations. You will handle prescriptions, dispense products accurately, and assist with basic compounding while delivering courteous customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and process prescriptions.
• Dispense pharmaceutical or nutraceutical products with precision.
• Assist in basic compounding of formulations when required.
• Explain product usage, dosage and answer customer queries.
• Maintain accurate records, inventory and dispensing logs.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Keep the dispensing area clean, organized and follow safety and confidentiality protocols.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Nursing, Pharmacy, or Food & Nutrition.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy practice and prescription handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, reliability and adherence to ethical safety standards.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.

What we offer

• Salary range: 250,000 UGX – 400,000 UGX per month.
