Physiotherapist – Emergency Response Team

About the role

The Emergency Response Team (ERT) is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of physical conditions, aiming to restore mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, reviewing medical history and collaborating with other professionals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using exercises, manual techniques, and therapeutic modalities.
• Provide rehabilitation services post‑surgery, injury or illness, focusing on strength, flexibility and coordination.
• Apply pain‑management strategies and educate patients on self‑care and preventive measures.
• Monitor progress through regular reassessments and outcome measures, adjusting plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists and other team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or a related field, or a two‑year accelerated Master’s program.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) qualification.
• Current licensure to practice physiotherapy and commitment to continuing education.
