Project Coordinator – Childcare Economy (PlayMatters)

About the role
The Project Coordinator will lead Outcome 4 – Comprehensive Support to the Childcare Economy – within the PlayMatters 3.0 initiative. This role is based in Ethiopia and Uganda and will guide the inception phase through December 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of Outcome 4 as part of PlayMatters 3.0, funded by the LEGO Foundation and co‑funded by the UBS Optimus Foundation.
- Work within the existing PlayMatters programme management structure, leveraging IRC country operations and partnerships.
- Support the planning and implementation of the inception phase, ensuring alignment with programme goals.
- Collaborate with local and international stakeholders to promote learning through play for refugee and host‑community children.
