Sales Associate – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Insurance Agency is looking for a full‑time Sales Associate to work on‑site in Kampala. You will be responsible for generating new business leads, presenting agency services to potential clients, and converting inquiries into long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact prospective clients through meetings or calls.
• Prepare and deliver sales pitches, proposals, and presentations.
• Maintain accurate interaction records in sales tracking systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align client requirements and support onboarding.
• Monitor campaign performance and report updates to management.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated client‑facing sales ability, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Basic understanding of marketing services with a willingness to learn industry best practices.
• Comfort using office productivity tools and sales tracking software.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, collaborate with a diverse team, and maintain a professional client‑focused attitude.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or business development is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.
