Sales Executive – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales Executive to work on‑site in Kampala. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads and building a robust sales pipeline for the agency’s insurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage prospective and existing clients to understand their insurance needs.
• Prepare and present tailored service proposals, negotiate terms and close contracts.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing account support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of insurance campaigns.
• Prepare regular sales reports, track performance against targets and provide market feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales prospecting, lead generation and closing deals, preferably in marketing, media or related sectors.
• Strong account‑management and customer‑service abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using CRM software to track leads and opportunities.
