Sales Hunter (Financial Services)

About the role

The Sales Hunter position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Kampala. You will be responsible for driving new business and expanding Platinum Credit’s customer base by promoting its loan and finance products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities through prospecting activities.
• Schedule and attend client meetings to present loan products and explain eligibility criteria.
• Guide clients through the application process and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams for timely follow‑up and high‑quality customer service.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and report on performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven sales, negotiation and closing abilities with a track record of generating new business.
• Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of credit or lending processes, preferably in micro‑finance.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented with excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
• Integrity, professionalism and a commitment to inclusive customer engagement.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous field sales or financial services experience in Kampala or surrounding areas is highly beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools.
• Ability to prepare simple reports and maintain accurate records.
