Sales Officer – Nakawa

About the role

Silicon Valley Global Ph Inc – International is seeking a Sales Officer to work from its Nakawa office in Kampala. The role focuses on expanding the company’s footprint in the international trade finance market by building and nurturing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business leads in trade finance.
• Present tailored trade finance solutions and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
• Conduct regular client meetings, prepare proposals and coordinate with internal operations teams.
• Maintain accurate sales records, monitor market trends and support channel partners.
• Deliver consistent customer service to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience in lead generation, sales operations and channel sales.
• Knowledge of finance, banking or international trade concepts.
• Analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• A diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field is preferred; prior sales experience in financial services or B2B is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
