Salesperson – Insurance Solutions

About the role

Liberty Uganda is seeking a motivated Salesperson to join its insurance team in Kampala. This full‑time, hybrid role combines office work with flexible remote days, allowing you to engage directly with prospective and existing clients while supporting the company’s mission to provide practical, customer‑focused insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and qualify prospective clients for a range of insurance products.
• Present tailored insurance solutions, prepare quotations, and guide customers through the selection process.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline, conduct client meetings, and follow up to close sales.
• Provide after‑sales service, address policy inquiries, and manage policy changes for existing holders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to process applications, ensure accurate documentation, and support sales campaigns and training initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven sales and negotiation abilities with clear communication of financial or insurance products.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service orientation, focused on client needs.
• Organised, self‑motivated, and able to work both independently and within a team.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or related field, or equivalent sales experience.
• High integrity, professionalism, and respect for client confidentiality.
