Savings Area Manager – Regional Savings Lead

About the role

The Savings Area Manager leads all regional savings activities for FINCA Uganda, mobilising savings in the assigned geographic zone and designing strategies to grow the savings portfolio. This role reports to the Savings Manager and works closely with branch managers and the Alternative Delivery Channels team.

Key responsibilities

• Set institutional and branch savings targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Establish savings mobilisation goals for technology channels such as POS and mobile banking.
• Supervise savings mobilisation activities across branches through regular meetings and joint field work.
• Prepare and submit weekly, bi‑weekly and monthly activity reports to the Savings Manager.
• Collaborate with branches to organise daily and weekly savings mobilisation activities.
• Develop business relationships with institutions and promote FINCA’s savings products and distribution channels.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in savings mobilisation with a proven ability to grow a portfolio.
• Excellent training, coaching, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• High integrity and self‑motivated, innovative, result‑oriented attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in savings mobilisation, sales or marketing within a financial institution.
