Senior Sales Manager – General Trade

About the role

Picfare Uganda, a leading textile manufacturer, is looking for an experienced and results‑driven Senior Sales Manager to head its General Trade sales across Uganda. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market coverage and managing a network of distributors and wholesalers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve an annual sales revenue target of UGX 30 billion.
• Develop and implement General Trade sales strategies.
• Recruit, train, and manage distributors and wholesalers.
• Expand market coverage and increase product penetration.
• Generate secondary sales and identify new business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
• 8–12 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years managing General Trade channels.
• Proven track record of managing distributor networks and delivering annual revenues exceeding UGX 20 billion.
• Strong business development, negotiation, leadership and commercial management abilities.
