Spanish Teacher – Early College High School (2026‑27)

About the role

The Early College High School seeks a dedicated Spanish Teacher for the 2026‑27 academic year. The role focuses on delivering rigorous instruction, preparing students for higher‑education success, and supporting dual‑credit programs in partnership with Tarrant County College.

Key responsibilities

• Implement AISD and Tarrant County College curricula for high‑school and dual‑credit Spanish courses, including lesson planning, assessments, and accommodations for diverse learning styles.
• Manage classroom environment, enforce the Student Code of Conduct, and collaborate with special‑education teachers to modify instruction according to IEPs.
• Supervise teacher aides, coordinate extracurricular Spanish activities, and maintain communication with parents, college staff, and community members.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Spanish or related field (or equivalent graduate coursework) and a valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements.
• Familiarity with Texas Education Agency standards, AVID, Pre‑AP, and AP instructional strategies, and ability to prepare students for TSI/SAT/ACT examinations.
