Brand & Events Manager

About the role

SMARTEC ELECTRONICS LTD is seeking a dynamic Brand & Events Manager to lead offline marketing initiatives and high‑impact retail events in Kampala. You will shape brand architecture, manage budgets, and drive foot‑traffic through creative activations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual offline marketing budgets, brand guidelines and promotion calendars.
• Plan and execute store grand openings, holiday activations and multi‑brand product launches.
• Source, negotiate and manage relationships with fabrication vendors, agencies and promoters.
• Deploy below‑the‑line assets such as flyers, billboards and pop‑up retail experiences.
• Coordinate joint marketing campaigns with partner brands (e.g., Samsung, LG, Beko).
• Track ROI by analysing foot‑traffic and sales uplift after each event.

Required profile

• Senior‑level marketing professional with at least 36 months of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in retail or FMCG event management.
• Strong analytical mindset for measuring campaign performance.
