Financial Inclusion Officer – Kiboga

About the role

Financial Inclusion Officers are responsible for expanding FINCA Uganda’s reach in Kiboga by promoting group‑lending products, delivering financial‑literacy training and generating new client relationships. The role works closely with the Branch Manager to meet monthly sales and outreach targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly sales and marketing plans for targeted catch‑area locations, including community drives, focus groups and door‑to‑door activities.
• Organise and deliver three‑session training programmes for prospective group‑lending customers, covering financial literacy, product methodology and group governance.
• Conduct financial‑literacy workshops, guide groups in selecting leaders, and ensure proper record‑keeping and cohesion.
• Assess group readiness for FINCA financial services and provide weekly progress reports to the Branch Manager.
• Collaborate with the Product Associate to align action plans and monitor performance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language spoken in the operational area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
• Strong sales, marketing and customer‑service orientation.
