Financial Inclusion Officer – Kyotera

About the role

The Financial Inclusion Officer will support FINCA Uganda’s mission to expand access to financial services in the Kyotera catchment area. Working closely with the Branch Manager, the officer will drive sales, conduct community outreach, and deliver financial literacy training to prospective group borrowers.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create monthly sales and marketing plans with the Branch Manager, targeting identified communities through door‑to‑door visits, focus groups and community drives.
• Organise and deliver a monthly three‑pack training session for potential group‑lending customers, covering product methodology and group governance.
• Provide financial literacy training, guide groups in leader selection, and ensure proper record‑keeping.
• Assess group readiness for FINCA financial services and monitor progress against targets.
• Implement agreed action plans, submit weekly feedback to the Branch Manager and coordinate with the Product Associate.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language of the operating area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle.
• Strong sales, marketing and customer‑service orientation.
• Good interpersonal, problem‑solving, time‑management and communication skills.
