Financial Inclusion Officer – Nakasongola

About the role

FINCA Uganda is seeking motivated Financial Inclusion Officers to expand its group lending services in the Nakasongola catchment area. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to plan and execute sales, marketing, and financial literacy activities that bring underserved communities into the formal financial system.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop monthly sales and marketing plans for targeted locations.
• Organise and deliver three‑pack training sessions for potential group‑lending customers.
• Conduct financial literacy workshops, explain FINCA’s self‑managed group product, and guide groups in leader selection and governance.
• Monitor group formation, cohesion, record‑keeping and assess readiness for FINCA services.
• Implement monthly action plans and provide weekly progress feedback to the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language of the operating area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service orientation.
