General Manager – IT Solutions Business

About the role

Business Centre Ltd (BCL) is looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead its IT hardware and software solutions business in Kampala. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will drive revenue growth, oversee daily operations and build strong client and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of IT hardware and software solutions and develop new business opportunities.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations including procurement, sales, service delivery and order fulfillment.
• Prepare and control budgets, forecasts and financial plans to ensure profitability.
• Lead, coach and develop sales, technical and administrative teams, setting performance targets.
• Maintain and expand key client relationships while monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and manage operational risks.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 7 years of experience in IT business management.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of revenue and profit growth.
• Excellent leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage stakeholder relationships.
