Utilities Artisan

About the role

The Utilities Artisan will join the plant team at the Namanve facility in Kampala, reporting directly to the Utilities Controller. This position ensures that all utilities equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably to support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the performance, availability and reliability of utilities systems across the plant.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all utilities equipment.
• Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with plant safety standards.
• Monitor equipment condition and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support asset care programs and contribute to the overall reliability strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in utilities or plant equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with the Utilities Controller.
• Strong focus on safety, reliability and preventive maintenance.
