About the role

Integrated Logistics Services - Tilenga Limited, a subsidiary of Africa Global Logistics (U) Limited, is looking for a forklift operator for its warehouse in Uganda. The role is full-time and permanent, and covers the safe operation of a forklift to move materials and products efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift to load, unload and move materials
Ensure goods are placed accurately in the designated areas
Follow safety protocols and procedures, and carry out pre-shift checks on the forklift
Report any issues or incidents
Meet productivity targets for loading and unloading
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Coordinate with team members on tasks and priorities, and report issues to the supervisor

Required profile

Valid forklift operator licence, or ability to obtain one
At least 3 years of experience operating a forklift
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
