Financial Inclusion Officer – Nakulabye

About the role

FINCA Uganda is seeking a motivated Financial Inclusion Officer to drive micro‑finance outreach in the Nakulabye area of Kampala. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to plan and execute sales, marketing, and financial literacy activities that connect underserved communities with our group lending products.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create monthly sales and marketing plans for targeted catchment locations, including community drives and door‑to‑door campaigns.
• Design and deliver three‑session training packages for potential group borrowers, focusing on financial literacy and the Self‑Managed Group product methodology.
• Conduct group training on leader selection, governance principles, record‑keeping, and cohesion.
• Assess group readiness for FINCA financial services and provide weekly progress feedback to the Branch Manager.
• Collaborate with the Product Associate to implement agreed‑upon action work plans.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language of the operating area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
• Strong sales, marketing, interpersonal, and customer‑service capabilities.
• Good problem‑solving, accuracy, time‑management, and communication skills.
