Grants Management Officer (Readvertised)

About the role

The Grants Management Officer will support DRC's Sudan Programme from the Uganda office, ensuring that all grants are managed in line with DRC procedures and donor regulations. The role involves coordinating grant cycles, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating effective internal and external communication.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the grants management system (Microsoft Dynamics) with accurate compliance documentation and data.
• Track grant portfolios, instalments, reporting deadlines, and donor-specific requirements using the Grants Tracker.
• Organise and document grant meetings, develop timelines, and disseminate action points.
• Monitor instalment schedules and coordinate disbursement timelines with finance.
• Provide programme teams with guidance on donor rules, ensuring compliance across finance, logistics, procurement, and HR.
• Review donor reports for consistency and contractual alignment.
• Maintain grant‑related documentation on SharePoint, managing access, version control, and timely sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grants management and donor compliance within an international NGO or humanitarian setting.
• Strong understanding of financial, logistical, procurement, and HR aspects of grant implementation.
• Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
