Grants Management Officer (Readvertised)

About the role

The Grants Management Officer will support DRC's Sudan programme in Uganda, ensuring that the grant portfolio complies with DRC procedures and donor regulations while facilitating the full grant cycle from planning to reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely updates in the grants management system (Microsoft Dynamics), including compliance documentation and data extraction.
• Keep the Grants Tracker current with portfolio overviews, pipeline status, instalments, reporting deadlines and donor‑specific requirements.
• Ensure office compliance with DRC’s Grants Management Guidelines and donor regulations.
• Prepare, facilitate and document grant meetings, develop timelines, capture action points and disseminate required documentation.
• Monitor instalment schedules and coordinate disbursement timelines with finance.
• Provide structured support to programme teams on donor rules, operational compliance and reporting.
• Review draft donor reports for compliance and alignment with contractual obligations.
• Maintain grants‑related documentation on SharePoint, ensuring integrity and accessibility.

Required profile

• Highly qualified individual with experience in grants management within the humanitarian sector.
• Strong knowledge of donor regulations and ability to translate them into operational tools.
• Excellent coordination and documentation skills.
• Ability to work closely with programme, finance, logistics and procurement teams.
• Attention to detail and capacity to monitor compliance milestones.
