Maintenance Planner – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

The Maintenance Planner will be based at the Namanve Plant in Kampala and will report directly to the Packaging Engineer. This position is responsible for overseeing the plant’s maintenance systems and ensuring that production lines operate reliably and efficiently. The planner will develop and execute effective maintenance schedules and support plant reliability initiatives to maximise line availability, operational efficiency, and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage maintenance systems to track work orders and preventive tasks.
• Develop and execute effective maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Support plant reliability to ensure maximum line availability.
• Drive operational efficiency across the production line.
• Optimize maintenance costs while maintaining performance standards.

Required profile

• Will report directly to the Packaging Engineer.
