Sales Associate – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Sales Associate will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on engaging prospective and existing clients, presenting agency services and converting inquiries into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings and present insurance solutions.
• Make outbound calls and respond to email inquiries.
• Prepare proposals and maintain accurate records in the sales system.
• Coordinate with internal teams to schedule service delivery and gather client feedback.
• Meet sales targets and participate in marketing or promotional activities.
• Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Customer‑service mindset with good listening and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic sales and business‑development competencies such as lead generation, negotiation and objection handling.
• Organisational skills to manage time, prioritise tasks and keep accurate documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a target‑driven environment.
• Prior experience in sales, recruitment or advertising is a plus but not mandatory.
• Relevant post‑secondary education in business, marketing, communications or a related field is beneficial.
