Sales Agent - Financing Products

About the role

MOGO Uganda, part of the international FinTech group Eleving Group, offers cash logbook loans to car and Boda Boda owners and financing for Boda Bodas, smartphones and Tuk Tuks in Uganda. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Agent based in Mubende to promote its financing products to potential and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and explain product features and terms.
• Guide clients through application and approval processes and ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide responsive customer service and build long-term client relationships.
• Follow up on leads to meet individual and team sales targets.
• Collaborate with colleagues, take part in product and compliance training, and represent the company professionally in the community.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Solid sales skills and experience meeting or exceeding targets, preferably in financial services or related fields.
• Basic insurance knowledge or willingness to learn it.
• Ability to take part in product, compliance and customer care training.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field is an advantage.

Beneficial additions: prior experience in microfinance or retail banking, familiarity with the Mubende market, proficiency in English and local languages, and strong record-keeping skills.
