About the role
The Agency Development Executive reports to the Head of Agency Development and is responsible for coaching and mentoring insurance agents to achieve business targets. The role focuses on driving new business, premium income, product mix, and active agent growth while developing future leaders within the agency network.
Key responsibilities
- Coach and mentor agents to meet targets for new business, premium income, average income, product mix and active agents.
- Develop agents into team leaders and promote team leaders to Agency Supervisors.
- Conduct one‑on‑one coaching sessions for under‑performing team leaders based on monthly scorecards.
- Promote a culture of quality business and improve persistency rates.
- Grow agents’ earnings to reach the millionaire threshold.
- Open new markets for team leaders to expand their agent base.
- Enforce agency standards and discipline among team leaders.
- Provide weekly accurate reporting on key metrics and activities across teams and branches.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent.
- Professional insurance qualification (or in progress).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Sales experience in agency management or a related field.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management and people development abilities.
- Excellent organizational, execution and reporting skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high‑activity, fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
