About the role
The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership and governance, working closely with the Board to drive growth and strengthen the organisation's position in the shipping and logistics sector.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and governance, collaborating with the Board to drive organisational growth.
- Represent and advocate for the organisation before government, regulatory bodies, and regional trade partners.
- Oversee membership growth, secretariat operations, and financial management.
Required profile
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of senior leadership experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or association management.
- Strong knowledge of EAC customs regulations and trade protocols.
