Country Logistics Control Manager

About the role

The Country Logistics Control Manager ensures that all physical movements of inventory are accurately recorded in the Syspro system across Uganda. This role coordinates stock counts, reconciliations, and logistics processes to maintain inventory integrity and support the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full adherence to pre‑stock stake processes across all sites and verify adjustments before stock counts.
• Facilitate daily, weekly and monthly stock counts of raw materials, finished goods, empties and pallets.
• Maintain a clean GIT account, process post‑goods issues, and reconcile delivery notes.
• Track and report on pallet movements, destruction, repair processes and contractor performance.
• Conduct monthly surveys of missing, broken or foreign items and capture results.
• Reconcile system and physical stocks, process trade complaints and expired stock returns.
• Manage logistics supplier reconciliations, purchase order follow‑up and goods received notes.
• Support emergency call‑outs and ensure compliance with accident procedures.

Required profile

• 3‑year degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Finance.
• Minimum three years’ experience in inventory and process controls.
• Fluent English with strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Syspro ERP system.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams collaboration tool.
