Dentist – Full‑Time Position

About the role

Axel Uganda Limited is seeking a qualified dentist to join its clinic in Kamwokya, Kampala. The role involves providing comprehensive oral health services to patients in a full‑time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Order and interpret X‑rays and other diagnostic tests.
• Monitor the development of teeth and jaws.
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care.
• Create individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe antibiotics or other medications as needed.
• Administer anesthetics before procedures.
• Apply whitening agents and perform cosmetic procedures.
• Remove decay, fill cavities, and repair damaged teeth.
• Conduct regular check‑ups and professional cleanings.

Required profile

• Mid‑level dentist with at least 12 months of clinical experience.
• Registered dental professional authorized to practice in Uganda.
• Strong commitment to patient education and quality care.

Required skills

• Interpretation of dental X‑rays.
• Administration of local anesthetics.
• Prescription of dental medications.
• Performing tooth whitening and cosmetic procedures.
• Decay removal, cavity filling, and tooth restoration.
• Conducting routine examinations and cleanings.
