Finance & Administration Manager – Uganda Service Company

About the role

The Service Company in Uganda is seeking a dynamic Finance and Administration Manager to lead its financial planning, reporting and administrative functions. This senior‑level position reports directly to the Country Head and will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s growth and compliance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and control processes to align with business objectives.
• Prepare accurate management accounts, statutory reports and present performance insights to the Board.
• Implement and enforce budgetary controls, cost‑management initiatives and strategic financial analysis.
• Oversee procurement, contract administration, vendor management and office logistics to ensure value for money.
• Maintain robust documentation, record‑keeping and compliance systems, supporting ICT and governance processes.
• Act as deputy to the Country Head, representing the company with clients, stakeholders and regulators.
• Provide leadership to finance and administration teams, fostering accountability and performance excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws, regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Experience in facilities management or the service industry is an advantage.
