General Manager – Real Estate Development

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead Homescape Horizons Ltd’s operations in Kampala. The role involves steering strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership to drive growth of our land investment and estate development business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan to achieve business objectives.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks governing real estate and investments.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients, investors, and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and sustainable growth.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams.
• Strong background in strategic planning and business management.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of real estate development, land acquisition and estate planning processes.
• Understanding of compliance and legal frameworks in real estate and investments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate or related field.
