About the role
The Head of Section, Plant & Maintenance leads the maintenance activities for operational units, ensuring equipment availability and reliability meet target levels. This role coordinates the maintenance team, manages resources, and upholds safety and work standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily maintenance activities for operational units.
- Ensure equipment availability and reliability align with performance targets.
- Coordinate the maintenance team and oversee resource allocation.
- Enforce work and safety standards across all maintenance operations.
- Prepare performance evaluations and maintenance reports.
Required profile
- Minimum D3 or S1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
- Holder of the First Operational Supervisor (POP) certification.
- Strong understanding of heavy‑equipment maintenance systems and mining operations.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
