Healthcare Sales Executive

About the role

The Healthcare Sales Executive will be responsible for building and nurturing referral relationships that drive patient flow to our hospital network. Based in Kamwokya, Kampala, you will work closely with physicians, clinics, nursing homes and diagnostic centres to promote our services and expand our referral base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians, clinics, nursing homes and diagnostic centres.
• Visit doctors and clinics regularly to showcase hospital specialties and doctor panels.
• Identify new referral sources and grow the hospital’s referral network.
• Coordinate patient hand‑over with hospital departments to ensure seamless service.
• Organise CMEs, doctor meets, health camps and networking events.
• Address concerns and feedback from referring doctors promptly.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM database of referral partners and visit schedules.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly referral targets set by management.
• Collaborate with marketing on incentive programmes, brochures and promotional material.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in referral or field marketing within a hospital, diagnostic or healthcare setting.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and hospital operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience using CRM tools.
