Human Resource Apprentice (M/F)

About the role

Integrated Logistics Services - Tilenga Limited, a subsidiary of Africa Global Logistics (U) Limited and part of the MSC Group, is looking for a Human Resource Apprentice in Kampala, Uganda. This is a full-time internship for recent graduates or early-career individuals who want hands-on experience in HR.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up-to-date staff leave database
• Compile monthly payroll inputs and send them to the regional payroll office by the 17th of each month
• Update staff files with documents such as leave forms and contracts
• Manage staff exits: compute terminal benefits and ensure completed clearance forms are submitted to the HR office
• Manage staff contracts, renewing them a month in advance
• Take part in company social events and prepare and manage monthly staff birthday breakfasts
• Compile and submit approved monthly MCR forms for salary payments for casual workers
• Send a monthly leave status report to the HR manager and perform other duties assigned by the manager

• Recent graduates (diploma or bachelor's degree)
