Key Accounts Executive - Trainee (HR & Admin)

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management solutions firm operating across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan. It is hiring a Key Accounts Executive Trainee in Kampala, reporting to the Client Relations Manager, to support the attainment of its strategy by handling HR and administration matters for casual and contractual staff at client workplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in recruitment, selection and placement of workers as needed.
• Ensure proper onboarding of casual and contractual staff, including acknowledgment of contractual terms and job descriptions.
• Administer service level standards and contracts with clients, such as billings, invoices, client reports, staff payments and contracts.
• Manage staff welfare (meals, working hours), medical insurance and site clinic for occupational injuries, and handle payments and issue pay slips.
• Monitor attendance, time management and staff performance.
• Handle workplace conflicts and grievances, and document client meetings and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines, occupational and environmental health and safety standards, and client service level agreements.
• Report and escalate incidents, and promote preventive approaches.

Required profile

• Degree-level education, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
• At least 1 year of experience in HR.
• Basic knowledge of Ugandan labour law.
