Insurance Agent – Sales & Client Relations

About the role

ICEA LION Uganda is seeking a motivated Insurance Agent to join its Kampala office. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will promote and sell a range of insurance, pension and investment solutions while delivering exceptional service to both individual and business clients.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell insurance products and services to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular follow‑up and support.
• Conduct needs analyses to recommend tailored insurance and financial solutions.
• Handle claims efficiently and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide financial advice and answer customer inquiries.
• Achieve and exceed defined sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance sales, brokerage or related financial services.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and proactive in pursuing sales opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Finance or a related field is preferred.
